Maya Roma
Maya is a new member to our group, joining us with a strong background in Mathematics. She is excited about applying abstract and simplified mathematical concepts to understand and explain material behavior—an area she is currently exploring as part of her PhD research. Outside of academics, Maya plays competitive ultimate frisbee (her team was recently selected for the National Championships), gardening, and hiking.
